History of school
The name of our school is Birashi Di-Mukhi High School. Once there was no secondary school in this locality . Most of the people of this locality were illiterate . This locality was full of darkness for the ignorance of the major portion of the inhabitants . To remove illiteracy from the locality some higher educated and interested in education persons established this Birashi Di-Mukhi High School on the eleventh of January in 1969. It is in the middle of the village of Birashi by the side of the river Bagajana(Banar). There are many big and old trees around the school compound . The old banyan tree which is about 200 years aged attracts all. There is a large play ground in front of the school. The total land area of this institution is 3.40 acres. The land was donated by some large kind hearted persons .The donors of this school are Mr.Kitab Ali Mondol , Md. Hasen Ali Sarker, Md. Rustum Ali Mondol, Mr.Abdul Khaleque Sarker , Mr.Wazed Ali Mondol , Mr.Alim Uddin, Mr.Akter Ali Mondol. All are village in Birashi. Thanks.
